Our Cows Are Valued Friends

We treat our cows with kindness at all times.

If a heifer becomes sick, every possible means is tried to bring her back to full health, without compromising our organic standards. If, as a last resort, she needs to be given antibiotics or other synthetic medications, she will be removed from the herd.

Farms are not petting zoos

Some people are surprised to learn that most farmers restrict access to their cows, goats or sheep. The simple reason is they are not pets. Large animals can hurt you and not mean to.. or sometimes really mean to.

Disney creates the illusion that if we just love them and communicate with them, then all will be well. The last time we checked, our cows don't have a DVD player, so they probably didn't get the message.
